| The Pirata Bar have received, for the ninth consecutive year, the Friends of the children stamp, for the complete fulfillment of the 10 commitments to the Brazilian child. |

The Fundação Abrinq for the Children and adolescents' rights, grants this social stamp to private institutions that assume commitments with the childhood and the adolescence, preventing and eradicating children's work, guaranteeing health and education to the employees' children and also investing in actions to improve their quality of life.
Foundation Abrinq for the Children and adolescents' rights, created the "Program Company Friends of the Children", with the objective of ending the children's work exploration, that employees approximately four million children under the age of 14 years old in Brazil. According to the Brazilian Constitution and the Children and Adolescent Statute, this practice is expressly forbidden. |

Pirata Brasil was honored by the City hall of Fortaleza, in the last February 8th, same date of the polling of votes for the maracatu parades, samba schools and other parades that were attractions in the carnival, at the Domingos Olímpio street, executed by the Foundation of Culture, Sport and Tourism (Funcet).

Rodolphe Trindade, one of the proprietors of the enterprise, received from alderman Iraguassu Teixeira's hands a recognition trophy for the Pirata's work, that renews and promotes the Northeastern culture with the presentations of maracatus all Thursdays, since December of 2004, in the Pirata's Thursday night event.
On February 10th, it was the Pirata Bar's turn to open up their space for the "Maracatu Reis the Paus", great winner of the 2005 Carnival in Fortaleza.

The Partners of Vision Award, that the Pirata Bar had already received in the 1998 edition, was instituted by the General office of Tourism of Ceará (Setur) and it honors, every year, personalities and institutions that became partners with a vision of the future of the tourism in Ceará, collaborating to the development of this market segment.
