An important work done with the young, is the incentive to the practice of sports. The Capoeira Group of Caetanos is supported by the Pirata Marinheiros Foundation.
School Materials Donation
For several years, the Pirata Marinheiros Foundation supports the schools in the communities of the coast of Itapipoca, donating school materials.
"Curso Pro-Ler" Reading course
On of the actions that the Pirata Marinheiros Foundation does in the schools is a teachers qualification program.
In 2002, in a partnership with the UFC's Department of Economics library, a reading course was promoted.
