Most of the Pirata Marinheiros Foundation's work is done in seven different communities in the coast, located in the cities of Itapipoca and Amontada (interior of the state of Ceará) and in the neighborhood of Praia de Iracema, in Fortaleza (capital of Ceará).
There work is divided into different areas; support to social interaction projects, and development and support
to projects of citizenship integration and activities of environmental preservation.
All the work and projects are developed based on the interaction with the local communities, with a perspective of partnership and knowledge exchange. In our activities we work with all segments of the society, giving priority to the continuous actions with kids and adolescents in risky situations, women and fisherman.
Although our priority are the communities of our main areas of activity development, the Pirata Marinheiros Foundation, throughout the years, have also been involved in several other activities, in partnership with other entities. |
